2. Do you specialize in weddings?
Yes. I feel it gives our couples a sense of security.
3. How many weddings will a single photographer do in one day?
Each photographer shoots just one wedding per day.
4. How many pictures are generally taken at a typical wedding?
At a multiple location wedding 230 to 350 shots are typically taken.
5. For how long are the negatives kept and is there a way to get/purchase them after a given time?
Negatives are kept for up to one year. Many couples receive their negatives free in combination with their family and friend reorders.
6. Will I be able to purchase additional pictures/albums in the future?
Yes, for up to one year following the wedding.
7. Will the photographer take a mix of formal and candid shots?
Absolutely! The mix will depend on each couple and their preference. Some couples want more traditional photos and some are looking for a more photojournalistic style.
8. Are all the services, dates, times and costs detailed in a written contract?
Yes. Everything will be included in the contract, plus any special requests the couple might have.
9. Can your wedding package be modified?
Yes. Packages can be changed in virtually every way imaginable so that your specific needs and desires may be met. Just ask, and we can create a package that is perfect for you.
10. Can you shoot in black and white?
Yes. I can do traditional black and white, sepia tones and color tint black and white.
11. Do you use film-based or digital cameras?
Though your wedding can be photographed with either, digital is becoming the industry standard. Let us know which you prefer. The final results of both choices are custom-printed on the finest photographic paper. (Retouching is free with your digital prints)
12. What type of camera/format do you use?
I use a Digital -- Canon 8.2 megapixel and medium format cameras -- Hassleblad, Bronica or Mamiya
13. Do you photograph weddings in just the Kansas City area?
Our office is located in Blue Springs, and we do photograph many weddings in the Kansas City area and the midwest. However, we also photograph weddings outside of Kansas City, and have photographed weddings throughout the U.S. Please inquire for details.

DVD or VHS
2. What types of editing options are available?
Our base package does not include a lot of fancy editing. It is a great candid video and 95% of our couples choose this option.
3. Is the equipment used for video editing high quality?
Yes. The equipment is all Sony Digital HI 8.
